Return Policy

 

Return/ Refund/Exchange policy:

Due to the possibility of contamination, we do not accept returns on products that have been opened or used. If however a refund or exchange is needed for unopened and unused products, please notify us at support@african-afro.com within 7 days of receipt of the product(s). Please be aware that refunds and exchanges are not guaranteed. All returned items will be inspected by a member of our team and a determination will be made regarding eligibility for a refund/exchange. 

The customer is responsible for all shipping (which must include tracking information) costs on returned products unless the reason for return is deemed to be the fault of African Afro.  

In cases where a refund will be issued, the customer will be refunded the total cost of the product sold minus the original shipping cost. The original shipping cost cannot be refunded because the shipping cost was paid to a third party carrier. African Afro neither retains nor profits from the shipping cost charged by shipping carriers. 

No Refunds or Exchanges will be granted after the 7 day period.

Refunds cannot be granted while a package is in transit. In cases where deliveries are delayed because of the carrier USPS, Fedex or UPS, African Afro cannot grant a refund until the delay is settled. Most carriers do not allow refunds until a package has been undeliverable status for at least 30 days.

• Order Cancellations:

  We are unable to cancel orders that have already been shipped. 

  Return to Sender:

  In cases where a package has been shipped and subsequently returned to sender because the customer has either entered the incorrect address or is unable to pick up the package from the carrier, the customer is responsible for all additional shipping charges required to re-ship the package. If African Afro is at fault, the package will be re-shipped at no additional charge to the customer.

RETURN, REPLACEMENTS

If you purchased from one of our retailers or distributors – returns should be coordinated through that company according to its return policies and procedures. Receipt is required.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please bear in mind that our order fulfillment and shipping systems are designed to get orders on their way quickly and efficiently. Therefore, we cannot change or cancel an order once it has been shipped.

STORE LOCATOR

The store locator is provided to help you find the locations near you that sell African Afro fabulous products! We suggest that you call ahead to check availability for items with your local store. Each company determines which products will be on the shelves and how much to keep in stock. If you don't see a product you need, communicate with the store manager, and the African Afro product you need.

If the reseller is out of stock, send a picture to support@african-afro.com and identify the name of store plus the address you visited. Please help us so we can work with them to replenish and try to meet your needs.

We update the store listings regularly. Please keep in mind that we publish what they provide, so we cannot be responsible for errors and omissions.
